Sensei Frank Kushner

Sensei Kushner is a Martial Arts Grand Master with over 50 years of continuous training and has been inducted into many World Martial Arts Halls of Fame. He has trained in Karate as well as having extensive training in martial arts weapons with both American and Oriental Masters.

Mr. Kushner spent several years as a top rated National Karate Competitor who traveled the U.S. and Canada, rarely coming back with anything but a first place win. He is known for extensive knowledge, precision and detail of technique, for giving impressive demonstrations, patience and a connection with young people. Sensei Kushner is known for his deep humility as he teaches and enlightens his students with out ever appearing egotistically or artificially deep.

swordHe currently owns and teaches at FMK Karate and Fitness Center, in Binghamton, N.Y. and trains hundreds of students. Mr. Kushner has a constant influx of high ranking members from other various martial arts schools who wish to share his unique brand of intensity, warmth, and humor found in his classes.

Sensei Kushner has been inducted into numerous World Wide Martial Arts Halls of Fame, and has been featured on three consecutive years of Martial Arts Masters Collectors cards. He also has had articles published in four world-circulated Martial Arts Magazines. The Broome County Sheriff’s Department has selected Mr. Kushner as the official advisor for self-defense and technical advice regarding personal safety in the department.

Sensei Kushner is on the Board of directors of two World Wide Martial Arts Halls of Fame, is a member of NAPMA (National Association of Professional Martial Artists) and a member of the World Karate Union.
